Ours and every Muslim's belief is that the system created by Allah Almighty is for the doomsday, in which there is no room for modification. But the question is that with this belief, do we really follow religion and Islam? For the last few years, the Muslims of India are responsible for two or four of the problems that they themselves are responsible for. has been and for which the main Muslim parties seem to be fighting, it is really the need of the hour.
The problem has started with triple talaq and has reached the Uniform Civil Code. It is definitely unsettling, but it has certainly benefited the Muslim people by showing unity in the movement and parties. Security rallies are being held, the government is being pressured to avoid interference in Sharia law. The situation and problems that the Muslims and minorities of the country are facing at the moment, they themselves are at fault somewhere.
When Muslims themselves take their domestic disputes to the courts instead of solving them in the light of Quran and Sharia and accepting the decision of Quran and Sharia. The recent triple talaq problem has also arisen due to the non-Sharia practices of Muslims. Ishrat Jahan and Saira Bano or a few other women knocked on the door of the court and requested to declare the triple talaq null and void because of the illegal behavior of their husbands. It means triple talaq. It is not a matter of concern that Muslims go around the courts instead of approaching the Islamic courts. Just look at the police stations, you will see a crowd of burqa-clad women everywhere, when a conflict arises between two Muslims. Or if there is disagreement between husband and wife, aren't they both bound to solve their problem according to Islamic law? Isn't every issue of Muslims connected with Quran and Sunnah? Divorce cases are very few among Muslims, it is not a problem but it is being made a problem under a well-thought-out conspiracy. It is being unnecessarily exaggerated in the media. Triple talaq bill is a problem for children and women. When the husband is sent to jail, who will be responsible for his maintenance? This bill is completely flawed and weak and there are many contradictions in this bill, this bill is unacceptable for Muslims.
The anti-triple talaq bill passed by the government, which has been tabled in Parliament, is against the Supreme Court's ruling as the Supreme Court has ruled that simultaneous triple talaq does not constitute divorce. But the law passed by the central government is clearly against the decision of the Supreme Court. In this, in case of giving triple talaq, a punishment of up to three years has been proposed for the husband and during this period, non-maintenance has also been kept on the husband. The question arises that when the divorce did not take place in the case of triple talaq, then why the punishment? And when the divorce did not take place, what is the justification for making the husband liable to pay non-maintenance? It is said that Muslim women will be given freedom from problems.
If the government really sympathizes with Muslim women and wants to act according to the Supreme Court's decision, it should have taken a step in consultation with the Muslim Personal Law Board, Jamiat Ulema Hind and other leading organizations and scholars. The triple talaq bill was hurriedly brought in the parliament without asking the scholars. Those for whom the law is being made are not even being asked what their opinion is. In the press and media, such so-called apostate women are being exposed and false propaganda is being done. The fact is that the government has neither anything to do with triple talaq nor does it have any sympathy for Muslim women. She is just following the policy of vote bank and that is she wants to please the majority Hindu population of the country by making laws against Muslims. It is being told by the government that Muslim women are oppressed and Muslim laws are very cruel and it is very important to relieve Muslim women from this, all this is actually false propaganda. This is the government's attempt to make this country Hindu Rashtra and erase the identity of Muslims from India. The government is more interested in interfering with the faith and beliefs of Muslims and the principles of Sharia, destroying the family system of Muslims than in the education and development of Muslims. The government wants to bring the Muslim society and families to the brink of destruction. It is happening for the first time in the history of independent India that a civil contract is being made a criminal act. We Muslim women will never allow these evil intentions of the government to succeed. In this country, the protection of Sharia is the responsibility of all of us and it is also a duty of faith. In order to prevent interference in the Sharia, it is necessary that the Muslims unite against any such conspiracy, but it is not enough to unite to protect the beauty and dignity of the Sharia, but it is necessary that all Muslims align themselves with the requirements of the Sharia. And for this, it is necessary that the knowledgeable and conscious class of Muslims come forward, and make the ideal methods of practicing Sharia common among Muslims.
Our Muslim Personal Law Board is currently the watchdog of the capital nation in the country, this institution was established for the protection of Shariat, it is our responsibility to be the voice of the Muslim Personal Law Board. It is the responsibility of us Muslim women to protest democratically in support of Sharia and against the triple talaq bill. Sharia is our choice, our pride, not forced. We will protect this blessing of Islam till the end. We are all with the Muslim Personal Law Board and oppose undue interference in religion and Shari'ah and are determined to keep Islamic orders in our internal and external lives. Strengthen!
