Government Sympathy with Muslim Women on Triple Talaq

The subject that I am venturing to bring up in my writing today has become a burning issue. This topic has started to appear as a headline in the print media and electronic media. Government of India is hurting the religious sentiments of the Muslim nation by using triple talaq for its political purpose. On the issue of triple talaq that has been going on for the past several months, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the practice of triple talaq is unfair to Muslim women, triple talaq is an obstacle to the development of Muslim women, while his government always wants to protect the daughter. The daughter has been a supporter of education. Not only that, she mocked the Islamic law and said that Islam did not respect women. Women were left at the mercy of men. Men are allowed four marriages while women are not given any rights. That's why the Modi government wants to get rid of the problem of triple talaq and give equal rights to Muslim sisters. Wants to stop all kinds of injustice against Muslim women. It should be noted that the issue of triple talaq which Modi ji is talking about is a religious issue. Those who make fun of Islam's code of divorce should also review their laws here. What are the rights of divorcees and widows in Hinduism? Where and in which religion was the hideous and cruel ritual like sati?

My request to the Modi government, as much as it is working hard for the welfare of Muslim women against triple talaq, the government should also work hard to ensure reservation for Muslim women in government jobs. But the opposite is the case here. In Maharashtra, the previous government gave 5% reservation to Muslims in government jobs and educational institutions. On this matter, the Bombay High Court also directed to give reservation to Muslims in educational institutions, but Modi, who was relieved by the grief of Muslim women over triple talaq, The government refused to give quota to Muslims even in educational institutions. Where does the government's sympathy for Muslim reservation go?

Last year, a hearing was started in the Supreme Court on the issue of triple talaq based on the rights of Muslim women. The Supreme Court cannot take a decision on the legal status of triple talaq. It is clear that Muslim women themselves have raised their voice against triple talaq in a council. Saira Bano of Uttarakhand was the first to file an appeal in the court. After that, two divorced women from Calcutta and Jaipur also knocked on the Supreme Court's door. In this case, some Muslim women's organizations have also come forward as supporters. Apart from this, many other women have filed petitions. One of them is Ishrat, who has been divorced over the phone. I sympathize with women whose husbands divorce them for one reason or another, which was a completely wrong decision. Media is exaggerating these women on TV channels. There are countless cases where Muslim women are going around police stations and courts. As long as Muslim women continue to approach the courts regarding the injustice of divorce, such or worse judgments, comments and observations will continue to appear.

This is a huge tragedy. The image of our Islam is being destroyed, it is being auctioned in the market and we are sitting as spectators. This is a problem that needs to be solved. How many scholars and Muslim organizations are there that are ready to solve this problem? In India, there is a lot of effort to interfere with Muslim personal law under the pretext of Uniform Civil Code. However, there is an ongoing effort to remove their misunderstandings, which are propagating in the media and describing Islam as an anti-women and gender-biased religion. The movement that is being run by some organizations of Muslim women for the right of women regarding divorce, they do not have correct knowledge of Quran and Hadith. In such a situation, it becomes the duty of us Muslim women to condemn every decision of the Government of India which is trying to defame Islam.

Most women in India are in favor of following Sharia law. He believes that the courts cannot give permanent solutions. Because she knows that Islam has given Muslim women a moral position and social status in society. The rights given to women by the religion of Islam are not found in any other religion in the world. Those who are calling Sharia law as stereotyped law, they are not aware of the truth of Islam. They should know that Muslim will not tolerate interference in Sharia law at any cost. Islam has been the protector of women's rights since the first day. It is an irrefutable fact that the moral, legal and equal status given to women by Islam has not been given before by any system of knowledge and will not be given in the future.

I believe that we have to hold ourselves accountable first, criticizing the Modi government will not solve our problems. Muslim brothers should also improve their married life. Islam has given equal status to men and women. The Sharia advises that the husband should use his right with great understanding and tolerance, if there is a fault in the wife, then he should be patient with her faults, if there is any displeasure with the wife, then let her displeasure. Take him away and treat him well. Divorce is the most disliked of the halal things according to Allah Ta'ala. Therefore, I request my Muslim mothers and sisters to also strive to make their married life happy. It is better to try hard to mend and manage things rather than putting a yoke like divorce on your neck by making your home life a quarrel. If, by the will of God, any kind of situation arises, by which all the ways of reconciliation have been blocked, then our Muslim brothers should not divorce the wife just because of temporary and emergency situations. Islam has ordered separation from the wife if in matters If there is no improvement, a committee should be formed of some sensible and influential people from the family members of both, who can understand the problems of both and solve them in an easy way. On the condition that this divorce should be purely Islamic with good intentions and not for showing off to the world. Nor should divorce be misused by converting to Islam to get married again. We have to make the Government of India realize that as Muslims, Islamic teachings have a lot of influence in their lives, we have to present the right image of Islam, we have to devote all our energies and attention to dealing with anti-Islamic elements and more importantly. It is necessary for us to correct and keep our ranks correct then only then our salvation is possible in the true sense.
